Job Descriptions

• To handle a complete set of accounts, ensure timely and accurate preparation of the financial report and other related schedules
• To be responsible for general accounting for accounts receivable and payable
• Process transactions, issue cheques, update ledgers, prepare budgets, etc.
• To prepare and present the financial statements
• To attend meetings as and when requested
• To perform basic office tasks such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing mail, etc.
• To be familiar with MPSAS (Malaysia Public Sector Accounting Standard)
• Background and experience in Human Resources will be an added advantage

Requirements

• Candidate must possess Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent. A professional certificate or qualification/recognition would be an advantage.
• Result-oriented with good analytical and reporting skills. Candidates with knowledge of MPSAS would be an advantage
• Knowledgeable and has experience in Standard Accounting System for Government Agencies (SAGA) and UBS Accounting System
• Advanced with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Candidate must have at least five (5) years of working experience in a related field
• Good analytical & communication skills, self-motivated, team player & able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Preferably can start immediately or on short notice
• A permanent post will be considered based on performance
